A Malian goddess among us
Last year she stood on our main stage next to -M- during Lamomali, his wonderful ode to Fatoumata’s Mali. Everyone with the slightest notion of musicality instantly realized that this lady deserved her own show at Couleur Café. Fatoumata Diawara is quite rightfully considered a superstar: a fabulous voice, beautiful melodies in the famous Wassoulou tradition and more stage presence than any pop star. Pure class that will move you to tears.
